St. Xavier offensive lineman Matt James died after falling from the 3rd floor of a hotel in Panama City, Florida on Friday.
According to Panama police, the accident happened around 6pm. James was a senior at St. Xavier High School and was very popular. He was even awarded Best Lineman of the Year.
Matt James death was the second Spring Break death in Panama City in less that a week. On Wednesday, another teenager died in a hotel fall still in Panama City.
